Delaying Actions
-War is an action led by argumentation from two opposing sides which however is not necessarily the fist step of action that should be taken in order to settle the dispute.
-The question that always is brought up is asking why people need to wage war in the first place.
-There is really no exact purpose other then:
-People will start war in order to control power
-Totalitarian governments and dictators use war to get their way
-These are not reasons that deserve thousands to die every year because of these arguments.

Waging War for Peace
-One hundred years ago, a pacifist president reluctantly led the United States into World War I.
-Woodrow Wilson eventually won "the war to end all wars," but failed to achieve his greatest desire: a new world order.
-That would wait until after World War II.
-Faint echoes of Wilson sounded throughout President Obama's address to the United Nations.

Boycott Backfired
-An American Studies Association tried to form a political actions group and boycott Israel but their plan proved to have failed drastically and with no success.
-Here's the back story.
-Last November, the ASA put forward a motion to its membership, backed unanimously by its national council, "to honor the call of Palestinian civil society for a boycott of Israeli academic institutions."
-Instigated by activists rallying under the BDS banner — boycotts, divestment and sanctions — the resolution was part of a coordinated international movement dedicated to isolating Israel economically and culturally.

Constitutional Rights
-Even convicted murderers are protected by the Constitution.
-In a legal challenge to Virginia's policy requiring all death row inmates to live in solitary confinement, Prieto has raised valid questions about due process and, by extension, about the nature of punishment.
-People who killed people don't always need to be murdered r the groups they were apart of.
-This can include terrorists or different races of people.

Ignoring the Lessons of the Past
-Far from Churchillian, Bush's and Blair's logic falls flat, they claimed, tripped up by truth.
-"The argument is simply nonsensical," says Iqbal Sacranie, secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain
-The country's largest Muslim organization and one of its most moderate.
-"The sanctions maintained by our governments are responsible for much of the Iraqi peoples' suffering, and this war is going to bring about more death and destruction. Where's the morality in that?"

Another Fight
-When it comes to military actions, President Obama likes to declare the end of wars.
-Regardless of whether America's opponents agree that is the case.
-When it comes to economic wars, he has no need to declare an end
-No need for unilateral disarmament
-He never engages in the first place
-Indeed, he does all he can to make our adversaries' task easier by spiking any guns we might have before they can be fired by Congress
-Fired by his trade union friends
-Fired by other aggrieved parties.

Terrorists Still Attacking
-The terrorist group ISIS is still threatening the United States
-The president is making a decision to fight back
-He is going to send troops from Congress over to stop this group of terrorists.
-War is needed in this situation because there are violent killers who are seeking to harm innocent people for no reason.
-Using war as a defense
-Also to show power over another group
